Fryeburg, ME- Day 61

Stats: We rode 62 miles under clear skies with temperatures in the mid 80's. There was some significant climbing in the first half of the ride as we passed through the White Mountains of New Hampshire and significant humidity in the second half as we peddled generally downhill to Fryeburg.  At the Maine sign we had only 3 miles to go.  So now we have passed through 12 states and 1 Canadian Province with only Massachusetts to go.  Tonight we are camping at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds which is a fantastic facility in great condition since their fair starts in 2 weeks.  Dinner was catered on site at the Fandangles Restaurant building.  After dinner we took a group picture of the coast-to-coast riders and had a recognition ceremony for the group.  All of us completing the cross-country ride received a plaque recognizing our accomplishment.
