The adventure begins June 18th when Tom Moffitt and I fly from Dayton to Seattle to join the Cycle America Group. Our first riding day will be Sunday, June 20th. Eighteen months of preparation and away we go. Sixty four days ( 55 riding ) and 4200 miles later we will be in Boston. As we pull together the final details, ship our bikes and pack our duffel bags, we are both excited and pumped. Yet at the same time we are aware and respectful of the physical challenge in front of us. Through this blog we will relate our progress, experiences and feelings.
