Our first ride day covered 60 miles from Everett to Skykomish. The temperature was in the mid 50's with rain on us for about 3 hours of the ride. We got soaked and chilled but finished the ride in dry conditions. Net elevation rise for the day was 900 ft. We made it a leisurely day stopping for coffee at a shop along the way and shooting numerous pics of the Cascades and raging mountain streams. In addition I had my picture taken with Harry (Big Foot) of " Harry and the Hendersons" fame. We finished the day with a cold shower and a hot lasagna dinner at Skykomish School.
