Tom and I are ready to roll. This will be the first pedal strokes of many to come ( about 1.5 million). The first order of business is heading for the coast to dip our rear tires in the Pacific Ocean before turning east and heading for the Atlantic. Tony (Netherlands) is the other cyclist dipping his tire. As you can see, it is a bit of a cool, overcast and drizzley day.
