Our next order of business was passing by a herd of Bison roaming by the side of the road. We were coasting down a hill, slowed to make a left turn and bingo the Bison were unexpectedly in front of us. I had to jamb on the brakes or I would have crashed into all the spectators. There must have been 100 or so. I felt a bit exposed on a bicycle 20' away taking pics. However I was not as close as the pictured rider. After we took multiple pictures we were on the move again to Iron Mountain Road.
