Today was a WOW kind of day. It was probably one of the top 10 of the trip for things to see. After departing Custer and riding only 7 miles, we were on the Needles Highway. It was a 13 mile up and down ride filled with spectacular views of rock spires as shown. The road goes through several rock tunnels with the picture showing Tom and I ready to go through the first tunnel we came to. They are all one lane with 2 way traffic.
