On the Road to Watertown - Day 54
Today after departing from Oswego we rode north along the eastern shore of Lake Ontario. The morning was highlighted with a visit to Pulaski situated on the Salmon River approximately 3 miles inland from Lake Ontario. It is a quaint village where we took a coffee stop. Continuing north we passed over my namesake waterway - Sandy Creek. The views of the massive wetland areas along the creek as it flowed to the lake were spectacular. Lunch was at Southwick Beach Park at mile 43 where some of our crew had a swim. That's Bill, Jennifer and Chris resting after a dip in the lake.
