Niagara Falls, ON Rest Day - Day 50

The gardens where I rested and read are spectacular with floral plantings throughout the park along the falls.  Queen Victoria Park, which lines the Canadian side of the falls, is neat and well kept.  The rest of the town is pretty much tourist heaven or hell depending on your view.  I saw several interesting sites in my wanderings.  The Ukrainian Catholic Church presented a contrasting architecture to the area.  Hopefully it will not rain so much that our bikes and selves end up looking like the bike pictured in the residential garden which I passed on the road into town.  Tom is sitting on a chopper bike which we saw on our walk back from dinner.  They are very difficult to ride since the pedals, which are close to the ground, cannot rotate when the bike is making a turn.  Dinner tonight was at the Best Western Motel, a few blocks from the campsite, where we had our introductory meeting for the new riders.  Today we also lost Casey, a starting college freshmen, who had to go back to school and was disappointed she could not finish the trip.
