Oswego, NY - Day 53

Stats: We rode 45 miles under partly overcast skies in the morning turning to mostly clear by noon with temperatures in the low 80's.  The suggested route today was 75 miles but Tom, Deidra and I took a more direct scenic country route on 104A/104 resulting in an arrival in Oswego by 11:30am.  On the way we stopped at the pictured Hardware Cafe and General Store in Fairhaven on Little Sodus Bay for the customary coffee and muffins.  With the early arrival in Oswego we were able to have a nice lunch in downtown Oswego on an outdoor patio beside the Oswego River.  Once back at camp at Oswego High School, I helped unload the luggage van and headed off to do laundry, hopefully for the 2nd last time on the trip.  I am getting quite good at it ( Yeah right!!!).  Ingrid will have her work cut out for her when I get home with this mess of stuff.   The afternoon was quite warm again as we worked up a sweat walking to the laundromat and Stone's Candy Shop for refreshments followed by dinner at the school.
