Ashton, ID - Day 13

Today's stats: We rode 64 miles under clear skies with temps in the high 70's.  Today was a relatively easy day of riding except for the 15-20 mph headwinds for the third day in a row.  We spent most of the afternoon on the Mesa Falls Scenic Byway which took us the final 25 miles of the day into Ashton.  The route was low traffic and mostly flat as in the picture.  We did pass downwind of a garbage dump for conifer trees which exuded a marvelous pine scent for a 1/2 mile.  Today was also our first distant view of the Tetons.  Our campsite is at North Freemont HS in Ashton which was also our first supply shipment from home.  I received a nice box of supplies which unfortunately I did not need.  We learn as we go.
