Stats: We rode 68 miles today under partly cloudy skies at 85 degrees. It was an easy ride with a threat of rain in the pm which we escaped as I mentioned earlier. This was a tent only option with no school gym available for indoor sleeping. However Tom and I had the good fortune to secure one of the 2 cabins available for the weekend. Primarily due to Tom's foresite and previous experience, we signed up for it 12 months age. It was nice to be in a bed and secure from any threat of rain. However I need to clarify that it included only 2 beds, the porch and electricity. We did not forsake our vow of deprivation for the trip. Our camp site is just across the street from the trading post and the entrance to Devils Tower is just a 1/4 mile further up the road. It is a great location.
