Jackson, WY Rest Day - Day 15

It was a bit cool this morning and we woke up with frost on our tents.  However the day warmed up quickly once the sun came up.  We spent the rest day touring Jackson on foot.  The county has a good shuttle bus which took us from the campsite to Jackson and back.  We watched the Jackson 4th of July parade for a while, visited all of the stores (art galaries, clothing, camping, etc) and had our fill of ice cream and  popcorn.  One of my 2 pair of bike shoes fell apart several days ago so I found a bike shop open on Sunday and bought a new pair.  Dinner tonight was pizza and salad at the Callico Pizza Restaurant which is a block from the campsite.  I am in the Tilley hat surrounded by Larry, Bill and Dr. Mike.  Now that we have finished 2 weeks with over 1100 miles ridden, the process is becoming more routine.  Physically things have reached a working compromise with both seat and legs such that riding is becoming a bit less ***painful***.   Equipment, bike and supplies are performing well.  The camping facilities are generally OK, ranging in comfort depending on how hot the showers are ( some are snow-melt stream cold ) and how many toilets there are.  I am looking forward to week 3 in Wyoming.
