The stats: We rode 62 miles under sunny skies with temperatures in the mid 90's. Phillipe (FR) and I rode together in the afternoon and finished the earliest ever at 1:30pm today. By the time we arrived at Phillip High School, the sun was baking us. With the early arrival and after helping unload the luggage, I had an extra meal at a local diner to help carry me through to dinner. I also did my weekly wash at the local laundromat where several ladies where kind enough to coach me through the process and help me with change. Remember I was on my own without Tom's support. In summary it was a DYNAMITE day with all the scenery, the fast paced afternoon ride and early arrival in camp.
