Since Devils Tower and the KOA campsite are isolated from a town, it is a Cycle America tradition to have an outdoor Margarita Party at the campsite on the Saturday night. Grant is in charge of the Margaritas and that is him in the white shirt bar tending from the back of the trailer. A great time was had by all as you can see on the faces of the chicks of Cycle America - Trish, Margaret, Norma, Lori and Janet. This was the last night for Jim, Brian and Lori who rode with us for the first 3 weeks only. They helped teach many of us rookies on the ride the value of a strategic coffee break during the ride and a refreshing beer after the ride. After 2 Margaritas ( one was probably enough) several of us went to the outdoor showing of the movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" which the KOA Campground presents on its patio each night. We had the experience of seeing the Tower in the movie and then looking up and seeing the real thing. As we returned to our cabin for the night, we could hear the party still going strong.
