Jackson Lake Dam and Togwotee Pass

After exiting the park we passed by Jackson Lake Dam and a view of Jackson Lake.  The road is under construction and it was a bit of a rough ride for several miles over loose gravel.  We had to take a center track on the road so the cars were respectful of us but glad to see us go.  After lunch the second half of the day was spent grinding up 3000 vertical ft. for 17 miles at 5 mph for 2 1/2 hours over Togwotee Pass with an elevation of 9573 ft.  We continue to reach new heights.  The reward for all our hard work was a wonderful 30 mile downhill run at 25 mph for 1 1/2 hours all the way into Dubois.  It was a thrilling combination with the best at the end.
